I booked a walking tour in Prague with Alesja and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip from Germany. She knows the city very well and took me to several beautiful places including the Old Town, Charles Bridge and the famous Astronomical Clock. One of my favorite moments was visiting a peaceful garden close to the Castle that I would never have found on my own. Alesja speaks great English and tells interesting stories about the city in a very natural way. The tour felt easygoing and authentic. I’m really glad I chose her as my guide and would happily recommend her to anyone visiting Prague. 😊Posted on Anna MaslennikovaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We booked the Prague to Germany cross border private tour with Cool Guide Prague and it was one of the best travel experiences of our trip. Alesia, our English-speaking guide, made the whole day smooth and enjoyable. The drive was comfortable, and along the way she explained the history of the region. In Germany we visited Dresden, explored its beautiful baroque architecture, and had enough free time to walk around the old town. The mix of sightseeing, local stories, and a relaxed pace made the day unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour if you want to see more than Prague and discover Germany in a comfortable, private way.Posted on Veronika KramperováTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a wonderful private tour to Kutná Hora with Cool Guide in Prague, and it was one of the most memorable parts of our Czech trip. Alesia, our guide, took us through the Sedlec Ossuary (Bone Church) and the breathtaking Cathedral of St. Barbara, sharing deep insights and local stories that made the experience truly special. The old cobblestone streets, the medieval vibe, and even the optional Czech lunch made everything feel authentic and relaxed. We went for the Bohemian Switzerland & Thermal Pool tour with Cool Guide last week with my family, and had an unforgettable day. The hike to Pravčická Gate was beautiful and peaceful, not too difficult, and the forest views were amazing. After that, we spent a few relaxing hours at the Teplice thermal spa, which was the perfect way to unwind. Our guide Alesia was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and made the entire experience feel personal and smooth. If you're in Prague and looking for a mix of nature, adventure, and wellness, this tour is a must!Posted on Veronika KinskáTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We spent a few hours walking around Prague with Alesja, and it was honestly really enjoyable. She’s easy to talk to, explains things in a relaxed and clear way, and gave us space to ask questions or just take it in quietly.🙏🏼 It didn’t feel rushed or rehearsed, which I appreciated. Her English is excellent, and she seemed to really care that we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves.✨ We saw some of the main spots, but also a few quieter places we wouldn't have found on our own. It felt more like exploring with someone who lives here than being on a tour.👍🏼Posted on mike burnettTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had an amazing day trip from Prague to Český Krumlov and Hluboká Castle with Alesja as our guide. She picked us up right from our hotel and made everything feel easy and enjoyable. Alesja speaks excellent English and shared stories and history in a really engaging way, never too much, just enough to keep it interesting. Český Krumlov felt like walking through a fairy tale, and Hluboká Castle was absolutely stunning. We had time to take photos, enjoy a great lunch, and explore at our own pace. If you're in Prague and want to discover more of the Czech Republic, I highly recommend booking this tour with Alesja!Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Hi, I am Alesja Kinská-Your Certified Guide.
I personally design and guide every journey. As an officially recognized professional, I hold a Second Degree Czech National Tourist Guide Identification Card (ID No. 203439). When you book with me, you are guaranteed a state-authorized, historically accurate, and legally verified experience.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Where do the tours start, and do you provide hotel pickup?
Yes, every journey begins right at your doorstep. I will personally meet you at your hotel or any designated location in Prague. You do not have to worry about navigating public transport to find a crowded meeting point; I handle the logistics from the very first minute.
How does the €180 flat-rate pricing work?
I believe in transparent value. The €180 fee is a flat rate for my dedicated, state-licensed guiding services for the entire day. This price covers your whole private group (from 1 up to 20 people), not per person. It is a highly cost-effective way for families or business partners to enjoy a premium experience without hidden per-person markups.
Are your tours completely private, or will we join a group?
All of my tours are 100% private and exclusive to you. You will never be merged with strangers or forced to follow a 50-person bus group. This allows us to move at your exact pace, whether you want to linger at a scenic viewpoint or move quickly through a gallery.
Do we need to bring passports for the Germany day trips?
Yes. Although we travel within the Schengen Area, we will be crossing the international border from the Czech Republic into Germany. By law, you must carry your physical passport or a valid EU National ID card with you at all times during these cross-border excursions.
Can we customize the itinerary or change our minds on the day of the tour?
Absolutely. That is the greatest advantage of a private guide. While we will agree on a core itinerary beforehand, the day is yours. If you decide you want to spend an extra hour hiking at the Bastei Bridge instead of visiting a museum in Dresden, I simply adjust our schedule on the fly.
How long do the cross-border day trips typically last?
A well-paced custom day trip from Prague to Saxony (for example, combining Dresden and the Bastei Bridge) takes approximately 9 hours. This provides the perfect "sweet spot" for a high-quality, deep-immersion experience without leaving you feeling rushed or exhausted by the end of the day.
Are transportation, entrance tickets, and meals included in the guide fee?
The €180 flat rate exclusively secures my full-day professional guiding and navigational expertise. Transportation logistics, individual entrance tickets to castles or museums, and meals are separate. Once you tell me your group size and preferences, I will help coordinate the best transportation options and ticket logistics tailored exactly to your budget.
